A couple things: 1) I’m going to start picking all the ACC and SEC games, simply because getting a few gimmes isn’t a bad thing, and 2) I’m already 1–0 on the week as my FSU-UNC pick (posted in my game preview on NoleDigest.com) was correct. As for today’s games:
ACC:

GaTech 27, UVa 23. I’m not buying the UVa upset that many are selling this week:
Miami 31, Clemson 30. Miami might win big; it depends on which Clemson team shows up. But I think Clemson’s defense puts them in position to win. They’ll definitely get some shots on Jacory Harris.
ND 34, BC 17. BC can’t win off their own field turf:
Duke 27, Maryland 20. Maryland is rotten.
Navy 23, Wake Forest 20. Chalk up another win for the option offense.

SEC:

Alabama 37, Tennessee 13. Tennessee might be lucky to get on the scoreboard in this one with their putrid offense.
Florida 38, Miss St. 17.
Kentucky 28, Louisiana Monroe 10.
South Carolina 33, Vandy 14.
LSU 23, Auburn 13.
Ole Miss 28, Arkansas 27.

Top 25:

Cinci 37, Louisville 23.
Texas Tech 45, Texas A&M 20.
Boise St. 44, Hawaii 21. Boise St. has no business in the top five, but they don’t play anyone who can prove that.
USC 34, Oregon St. 17.
Houston 34, SMU 31.
Ohio St. 37, Minnesota 23.
Texas 31, Missouri 24.
West Virginia 30, Connecticut 28.
Oregon 31, Washington 24.
Oklahoma 38, Kansas 21.
Utah 28, Air Force 17.
Pitt 24, USF 21.
Oklahoma St. 31, Baylor 20. I would pick this differently if Robert Griffin were playing.
Michigan 27, Penn St 24. Michigan with an upset in the Big House—Rich Rod will prove within a couple years that the Ohio State staff is completely wrong about not being able to run a Zone-Read-based offense in the Big Ten.
TCU 31, BYU 27.
Iowa 13, Michigan St. 10.

Last Week: 6–6, Season: 15–17)
