It’s been a pretty good couple weeks. First I get engaged on March 10 (video here), and now JBL has just informed me that my article, “What Do the Gentiles Have to Do With ‘All Israel’? A Fresh Look at Romans 11:25–26,” has been accepted for publication. They’ve asked me to reduce the length a bit (mainly getting rid of some of the extra material in footnotes), with the referee suggesting I “save some of [my] firepower for rejoinders to replies that this article will inevitably prompt.” I’ve been working on the project since the spring of 2003 (with one presentation at SECSOR in 2006 and another at the SBL Annual Meeting in 2008), and it’s really exciting (and quite a bit of a relief) to have this going to print soon.

Always nice to have a referee who really agrees with the piece. Looking forward to seeing it in print.
