I am privileged to be part of a\u00a0panel discussion with a group of eminent UNC professors to accompany the world premiere of the National Geographic Channel six-part series, “The Story of God with Morgan Freeman,” (who is not God himself but has played God in the movies) taking place at UNC-Chapel Hill tomorrow evening. The\u00a0announcement (and trailer) are below:\"Ng.story<\/p>\n

A world premiere and panel discussion of the National Geographic Channel six-part series, \u201cThe Story of God with Morgan Freeman,\u201d will be held at the William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education on March 23.<\/p>\n

Doors open at 7 p.m. and the screening starts at 7:30 p.m. for the campus event.<\/p>\n

The series will air on the National Geographic Channel beginning April 3.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Story of God will take viewers on a trip around the world to explore different cultures and religions on the ultimate quest to uncover the meaning of life, God and all the questions in between.\u201d<\/p>\n

The on-campus screening will also feature a panel discussion with James Younger, producer of the series, as well as UNC faculty members\/Ph.D. students:<\/p>\n
